A tip for eLocker app users
A tip for eLocker app users
A few weeks we launched our eLocker application for iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
Within the settings section of your device you can setup a username, password, and the domain name of your Studywiz deployment. If you enter all of the details then, when you launch the application, you will be automatically logged in.
This works great if you are the sole user of the device, but in many cases devices are shared amongst a group of students. Often, a different user is accessing the device each lesson.
Ideally, what you would like to do is setup the application so that it requires a login each time it is opened. Here’s how to do it in three easy steps:
Step 1: Access the eLocker application from your iPhone or iPod settings. (Yes, those are some of my iPhone applications
)

Step 2: Within the eLocker application settings complete the domain name, and enable secure connection (SSL) if required. Leave the username and password fields blank.

Step 3: Now, each time the application is launched it will ask the user for a username and password. When a student is finished accessing their files they can quit the application, log out, and then pass it to the next user.

Hopefully that’s a useful tip for some of our users.

Hi I can’t figure out what the domain name is either, I’m sure it’s something simple but I can’t figure it out!
Please help, it’s very frustrating!
Thanks, Lucy.
